This research entitled “LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE PRACTICE OF EXCLUSIVE BREASTFEEDING IN PRIMARY MOTHERS, REGIONAL HOSPITAL OF CUSCO-2018.”, Aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the practice of Exclusive Breastfeeding in primiparous mothers, Regional Hospital of Cusco, 2018. Type study: descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational; applied in a sample of 74 primiparous mothers. With respect to the general characteristics of the population under study, 41% are between 26 and 34 years old, 46% come from rural areas, 59% receive income of between 750 - 999 soles, 45%, are housewives, 66 % have secondary education, 52% are living together and 79% had a eutocic delivery. Regarding the level of knowledge, 53% have regular, 29% bad and 18% regular knowledge. Regarding the practices, 57% were found to have inadequate practice and 43% adequate. Regarding the relationship between the level of knowledge about breastfeeding and practice, there is a significant relationship; whereby the null hypothesis is denied and the alternative hypothesis with a chi-square value of (p value = 0.01 <0.05) is affirmed
