This research work is airned at determining the positive and negative identification of NN corpses, through pre-mortem and post-rnortern odontoqrams, whích contribute to the clarification of the identification, which will be carried out at the lnstitute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sclences “Leonldas Avendaño Ureta“, Arequipa 2020. This research is of a quantitative approach with a descriptive-retrospective, comparative cross-sectional design, since the variebles will be taken only once, according to the non-experimental observational deqree of the field, documentary observation with them was used because of finding a relationsbip bet.ween pre mortem and odontograms. post-mortem at the “Leonidas Avendaño Ureta“ lnstitute of Legal Medicine. The results of the research show that lt can identífy NN corpses through pre mortem and post-mortem odontograms. Fínding, more corpses of the male sex and the dominant age g.roup of 41-55 years. lt was found in positiva identification 90% and 100% of coincidences greater than 70% standardized and in negativa identification 58% and 68% less than 70% standardizsd. The point.s of cornparison found with ths highest concidence are 100% and the lowest with 50% and 56.7%. A higher percentage was found for the male sex in positiva and negative identification. The older age group was found in positives 41-50 years, nega.tives 46-50 years. lt is concluded that the odontogram is a scientific and probative method and the reliable identification of NN corpses through odontograms.
