Potencial turístico en la comunidad de San Juan, distrito de Yucay, provincia de Urubamba para el desarrollo del turismo rural.

Abstract

La presente investigación trata de identificar la riqueza turística existente en la Comunidad de San Juan y sus alrededores, otorgándoles un valor nominal a cada uno de los recursos identificados, para dicho efecto se ha utilizado un conjunto de lineamientos técnicos para la formulación del inventario de recursos turísticos a nivel nacional, y la valoración que le da el mismo poblador, siendo estas valoraciones la base fundamental para proponer el desarrollo de la actividad turística en la modalidad de turismo rural, por ser la comunidad de San Juan una población con características muy peculiares, en lo referente a sus tradiciones, costumbres, el uso de tecnología inca para la construcción de sus viviendas y actividades diarias como la agricultura, pastoreo y otros, complementada con la belleza paisajística de la zona. Esta tesis tiene como objetivo principal, dar solución a esta problemática a través de un conjunto de propuestas que responden a los requerimientos del turismo rural.

Los resultados de la investigación nos demuestran que la comunidad de San Juan y sus alrededores si cuentan con el potencial turístico necesario para promover el turismo rural puesto que la jerarquía alcanzada por los recursos turísticos de la zona corresponde a la jerarquía 3, medida que corresponde a todos aquellos recursos con rasgos excepcionales capaces de motivar por si solos o en conjunto con otros recursos contiguos, una corriente actual o potencial de visitantes nacionales o extranjeros, y por otro lado la comunidad de San Juan es considerada como una población en extrema pobreza, por lo que se da la necesidad de promover el desarrollo del turismo rural que tiene como objetivo promover el turismo desde un punto de vista social, económico y ecológico.

This research tries to identify different tourist riches in the community of San Juan and in its surrounding areas, giving a face value par to each one of the identified resources there. For this purpose it was used a set of technical guidelines for the formulation of the tourist resources inventory in all the country, as well as the value that gives the same settlers. This valuation is the fundamental basis in order to propose the development of tourism in the form of rural tourism, as well as, for the people from the community of San Juan who have very peculiar characteristics in relation to their traditions, customs, the use of the inca technology to build their houses, and in their daily activities such as agriculture, grazing, and others, supplemented by the scenic beauty of the area.

This thesis has as its main objective, to solve this problem through a set of proposals that meet the requirements of rural tourism.

This research results show us that the community of San Juan and its surrounding areas, hold the needed tourism potential, to promote the rural tourism since the hierarchy achieved by the tourism resources of the zone corresponds to the hierarchy number 3, measurement that corresponds to those resources with exceptional features that are motivated by themselves or with other adjacent resources. On the other hand, the community of San Juan is considered as a population in extreme poverty, in consequence it is given the necessity to promote rural tourism development that aims to promote tourism from a social, economic and ecological position.
