The purpose of this thesis is to carry out the evaluation of the physical-mechanical properties of asphalt modified with Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) and StyreneButadiene Rubber (SBR) polymers, as well as a comparative analysis between a conventional asphalt mixture or pattern with asphalt BETUTEC IB PG 70 - 28, since depending on the physical-mechanical properties of this asphalt mixture, a better comparative analysis of the results obtained can be carried out. For the elaboration of these three types of asphalt mixtures, the same gradation and the same stone aggregates were used, the coarse aggregate comes from the Huambutio quarry, for the fine aggregate material from the Cunyaq quarry was used. The research work seeks to evaluate the variation of the physical-mechanical properties and production cost of modified asphalt mixtures with EVA and SBR polymers, through the substitution in weight of aggregate percentages for the polymers, in which it is sought to obtain a percentage of substitution that provides better physical-mechanical properties of the traditional asphalt mixture, this percentage of substitution that provides better results to the physical-mechanical properties, was called Optimum Polymer Percentage. Asphalt mixture specimens were manufactured, the same ones that are composed of two percentages of asphalt (4%, 5%, 6%) and a percentage of polymers (1%, 3%, 5%, 8%), these specimens were subjected to laboratory tests to determine their physicalmechanical properties. Based on these results and the regulations of the road manual "General Technical Specifications for Construction EG - 2013" and the "Manual of Materials Tests 2016" of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
