The reason for this investigation is the concern that over the years the trees that are source of life have been cut indiscriminately, without giving the appropriate cost and being marketed at a negligible price, without taking into account all the costs involved their production. The main problem to be dealt with is the empirical technique of determining their production costs and the fixing of prices, as it has been observed there is no calculation of machinery depreciation, they fix their price according to the market and practically running the risk of Loss of profits without knowing the unit cost of their production. The general objective of this research is “Determine the costs of production and pricing of wood in the sawmill company Centro San Jacinto SCRL, Cusco - Period 2016“, used the descriptive method, since the data collection is through the interview and observation file. Based on the results obtained from the present investigation, the Sawmill Operator will be able to determine its production costs in a technical, orderly and truthful manner, as well as to fix prices according to the study carried out, this will contribute to the development and growth of the company. I hope that this small contribution will serve as a base or reference for future colleagues to go deeper into this important issue.
