Evaluación, diseño e implementación de procedimientos escritos de trabajo seguro (PETS) para disminuir y evitar los accidentes y mejorar la cultura de seguridad y salud en obras civiles del distrito de Pisac – Calca – Cusco.

Abstract

Esta investigación estuvo enfocada en la evaluación, diseño e implementación de “Procedimientos Escritos de Trabajo Seguro” (PETS), en las obras civiles del distrito de Pisac, aplicando la metodología de evaluación preliminar de las obras. Donde la implementación de procedimientos, comprende el uso y conocimiento de estos para un mejor desarrollo de las actividades y de esta manera se pudo prevenir accidentes. Así mismo la implementación de “Procedimientos Escritos de Trabajo Seguro”, implicó la elección de obras para las cuales pudimos diseñar los PETS de acuerdo al tipo de obra y dependiendo a sus necesidades, se prosiguió con la recolección y procesamiento de datos de accidentes de trabajo en un periodo de 16 semanas, las cuales fueron divididas en 08 semanas antes de la implementación de dichos procedimientos y 08 semanas después de su uso; de estos formatos sacamos los datos para poder desarrollar el estudio; con el objetivo de hallar: - Primero: la frecuencia de los accidentes de trabajo, haciendo comparación del antes y después, donde pudimos observar cuanto disminuyeron en cantidad el número de accidentes durante el periodo de la investigación. - Segundo: hallamos la severidad de dichos accidentes, que nos sirvió para poder clasificarlas según su gravedad. - Por último: hicimos una encuesta al inicio de la investigación para poder saber cuento conocían los trabajadores sobre seguridad, el cual también se tomó al final de la investigación para poder hacer un comparativo. La manera que usamos para dar a conocer a los trabajadores los “Procedimientos Escritos de Trabajo Seguro” (PETS), fueron mediante charlas de capacitación, entregándoles material didáctico que se menciona en el anexo 07, el cual les ayudo a tener una mejor percepción de cultura de seguridad y salud en el trabajo y así poder evitar muchos accidentes. Finalmente hay que mencionar que esta investigación presenta una metodología a la cual no se le presta mucha atención, por eso debería ser implementada en todas las obras del Perú ya que con una concientización de los riesgos y peligros que se corre en obra se podrán prevenir y/o evitar dichos accidentes.

This research was focused on the evaluation, design and implementation of “Written Procedures of Safe Work“ (PETS), in the civil works of the Pisac district, applying the preliminary evaluation methodology of the works. Likewise, the implementation of “Written Safe Work Procedures“, involved the choice of works for which we could design the PETS according to the type of work and depending on your needs, we continued with the collection and processing of data on work accidents. in a period of 16 weeks, which were divided into 08 weeks before the implementation of these procedures and 08 weeks after their use; from these formats we extract the data to be able to develop the study; with the aim of finding: - First: the frequency of accidents at work, comparing the before and after, where we could see how much the number of accidents during the investigation period decreased in quantity. - Second: we find the severity of these accidents, which helped us to classify them according to their severity. - Finally: we did a survey at the beginning of the investigation to know how the workers knew about safety, which was also taken at the end of the investigation to be able to make a comparison. The way we use to inform the workers of the “Written Safe Work Procedures“ (PETS), were through training talks, giving them teaching materials that are mentioned in Annex 07, which helped them to have a better perception of culture of safety and health in the workplace and thus be able to avoid many accidents. Finally, it should be mentioned that this research presents a methodology that is not given much attention, that is why it should be implemented in all the works of Peru since with an awareness of the risks and hazards that are run on site, it will be possible to prevent and / or avoid such accidents.
