The objective of this research was to verify the in vitro, the efficiency of the Oje ficus insipida resin solution in the mechanical chemical removal of tooth decay in extracted parts; In this case there is the resin of an Amazonian tree called Oje, which is then obtained and processed in the laboratories of Basic Sciences of the Faculty of Engineering of the ¨Universidad Andina del Cusco¨, until an aqueous solution is obtained in the factors of the 5 %, 10% and 20%. To carry out the work, a sample of 90 surfaces of teeth removed and with dental caries will be considered, which were obtained from the health centers and private offices of the city of Cusco for what is considered the inclusion and exclusion criteria . The technique used is direct observation, the application of a caries developer substance, to allows us to color the carious dentin and check if the removal is total or partial. The procedure consists of the application of caries developer, then the teeth were washed to proceed with the application of the solution starting with the concentration of 5% and a minute of time and then with the curette remove the carious tissue and start again with caries developer and apply again in case of persistence of caries up to three opportunities and write down if the removal was partial or total, which was also done at a time of 2 minutes and subsequently the operation was repeated with the other two problems. The results obtained were that the removal power had a direct relationship with the concentration of the solution since a higher concentration requires fewer applications and less application time, so that at 5% total removal was not achieved even with three applications at a time of 2 minutes, however at 20% the total removal was applied in 100% of the sample, in one application and one minute of application. All this corroborated with the corresponding statistical tests. Therefore, the Oje ficus insipida resin solution can be corroborated and is effective in the elimination of dental caries at the appropriate concentration.
