Introduction: Cardiac arrhythmias are a very common cardiac manifestation described in patients with Covid-19 infection. Their causes can be diverse, as can their severity and clinical consequences, and their clinical spectrum can vary from simple palpitations to potentially fatal arrhythmias. Objective: Determine the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of cardiac arrhythmias in patients hospitalized with Covid-19 at the Adolfo Guevara Velasco EsSalud-Cusco National Hospital, 2020 -2021. Methods: Observational, descriptive study. With a sample of 150 patients hospitalized for COVID-19 who presented cardiac arrhythmias at the Adolfo Guevara Velasco National Hospital EsSalud 2020-2021. A data collection form was applied using the documentary review technique of medical records and a univariate analysis was performed using the chi-square hypothesis test. Results: The frequency of arrhythmias is 11.3% of patients hospitalized for COVID-19, with a highest frequency of tachyarrhythmias of 79.4% and a lowest frequency of bradyarrhythmias of 20.6%. Conclusions: The patients who presented arrhythmias had a mean age of 58.71 with a predominance in the male gender, the patients more frequently presented arterial hypertension, palpitations and tachyarrhythmias.
