The research work entitled; KNOWLEDGE AND PRACTICE ABOUT HEALTHY LUNCHBOXES IN MOTHERS OF CHILDREN OF THE KINDERGARTEN N°636 MICAELA BASTIDAS, COLQUEPATA, CUSCO 2022. The general objective of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about healthy lunchbox and the practice of mothers of children of the kindergarten N°636 Micaela Bastidas, Colquepata, Cusco 2022. The study was descriptive and correlational in scope, with a quantitative and cross-sectional approach. The sample population consisted of 30 mothers of children aged between 3, 4 and 5 years, who regularly attend and register enrollment in the kindergarten N°636 Micaela Bastidas of Colquepata distrit; for the knowledge variable, the survey was used as a technique and the questionnaire as an instrument, and for the practice variable, observation was used as a technique and the observation guide as an instrument. The sociodemographic characteristics of the mothers: 76.7% are between 21 and 35 years of age; 50% report having secondary education; 80% come from the town of Colquepata, which is the capital of the district; 86.7% report having a monthly family income of less than 1050 soles; 70% are housewives; 40% report not receiving social program benefits and 40% receive other benefits; 56.7% are 5 years old. The 66.7% have regular knowledge about healthy lunch boxes and 86.7% have a bad practice about healthy lunch boxes. In conclusion, it was shown that knowledge about healthy lunch boxes has no relations hip with practice according to the chi-square test 5.875 and p value = 0.209.
