Over the years, many populations whose main source of income is agricultural activity have not been able to achieve adequate economic development, which is why this research sought to identify those potential agricultural products that have a positive impact on the economic development of the District of Pillpinto during 2022-2023. For this purpose, descriptivecorrelational research was carried out, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental and crosssectional design. The population consisted of agricultural producers in the District of Pillpinto, with a sample of 60 people to whom the questionnaire instrument was applied. The results obtained were as follows: The potential agricultural products identified were yellow and white maize, potato, beans, wheat, vegetables, avocado and lemon which have a significant relationship with the average production income, with a p-value of 0.038 below the 5% significance level, according to the Chi-square test statistic. The educational level of the producers has a significant relationship with production volumes, with a p-value of 0.000 less than 5%, according to the Chi-square test. Total quantity produced has a significant relationship with average income, with a p-value of 0.002 less than 5%, according to the Chi-square test. The type of technology used for production has a significant relationship with the total quantity produced, with a p-value of 0.011 less than 5% according to the Chi-square test. The main conclusion was that the identified agricultural products contribute positively to the economic development of the District of Pillpinto period 2022 -2023. With regard to the specific objectives, it was concluded that the level of education is relevant to the volumes of production and that the identified agricultural products have a positive contribution to the monetary income of the population and that the type of traditional technology has a significant impact on the low volumes of agricultural production.
