The problem of this research is formulated as follows: How is the operating lease and the economic profitability in the company of Mr. Edgar Camacho, city of Cusco, 2018?, where the objective was to know the current situation of the operating lease and the economic profitability in the company of Mr. Edgar Camacho, city of Cusco, 2018. The study population was made up of the Operational leasing business of the company of Mr. Edgar Camacho. The sample consisted of the two heads of the administration of Mr. Edgar Camacho's company and the 56 clients who provide taxi services in the city of Cusco. The type of research was basic, quantitative approach, non-experimental cross-sectional design and descriptive scope. To obtain results, the survey, observation guide and documentary analysis were used as research techniques; also with its instruments the questionnaire and the observation guide. Finally, it was obtained that the current situation of the operating lease of the company of Mr. Edgar Camacho, city of Cusco, 2018 is deficient due to and this is directly related to its economic profitability. Currently, in the absence of a legal contract that specifies responsibilities, the company cannot achieve the estimated income, thus having an economic profitability of 27% lower than the estimated 31% (4%), due to the cost overruns generated by the clients themselves without adding the other risks incurred, such as vehicle theft.
