Turismo rural y su efecto en los ingresos de los pobladores de la comunidad campesina de Willoq y Patacancha del distrito de Ollantaytambo, provincia Urubamba, periodo 2018-2019

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene por finalidad demostrar como la actividad de turismo rural que se realiza en las comunidades campesinas de Willoq y Patacancha es una actividad complementaria a las diferentes actividades que se realizan como la actividad agropecuaria que es una de las actividades principales, y que les permite a los pobladores de ambas comunidades obtener ingresos extras y de esta manera poder tener una mejor calidad de vida para los pobladores de dichas comunidades. Esta actividad de turismo rural que se practica en las comunidades campesinas de Willoq y Patacancha se basa principalmente en los servicios de alojamiento y alimentación, producción y comercialización de artesanía y el servicio de porteador turístico. El servicio de alojamiento y alimentación lo realizan los pobladores que han acondicionado sus viviendas para poder albergar a los turistas que visitan dichas comunidades, si bien el servicio es regular aún hace falta mejorar algunos aspectos como los servicios básicos y las habitaciones; en lo que respecta al servicio de alimentación se ofrece platos típicos de la zona. En lo referente a la producción y comercialización de artesanías son generalmente trabajos de bisutería y tejidos hechos por las mujeres de la zona y son ofrecidos a los visitantes y la actividad del porteador es realizada generalmente por los hombres y solo es por temporada de turismo y las rutas que realiza es el camino Inca hacia Machupicchu, es un trabajo que requiere mucho esfuerzo físico y la remuneración recibida por dicho trabajo no compensa todo el esfuerzo realizado. Según el análisis estadístico realizado se demostró que la actividad de turismo rural está significativamente relacionada con los ingresos totales, ya que esta actividad en general permite la dinamización y sostenibilidad de la economía de las comunidades de Willoq y Patacancha y que los pobladores mejoren sus ingresos.

The purpose of this research work is to demonstrate how the rural tourism activity carried out in the peasant communities of Willoq and Patacancha is a complementary activity to the agricultural activity and that allows the inhabitants of both communities to obtain extra income and from this Way to have a better quality of life. This rural tourism activity that is practiced in the peasant communities of Willoq and Patacancha is based mainly on accommodation, food, commercialization of handicrafts and porter services. The accommodation and food service is carried out by the residents who have conditioned their homes to accommodate the tourists who visit these communities, although the service is regular, some aspects such as basic services and rooms still need to be improved; With regard to food service, typical dishes of the area are offered. Regarding the commercialization of handicrafts, they are generally jewelery and fabrics made by the women of the area that are offered to visitors and the activity of the porter is generally carried out by men and it is only by tourism season and the routes that performed is the Inca trail to Machupicchu, it is a job that requires a lot of physical effort and the remuneration received does not compensate for all the effort made. According to the statistical analysis carried out, it was shown that rural tourism activity is related to total income, since this activity in general allows the dynamization and sustainability of the economy of the communities of Willoq and Patacancha (that is, their income improves).
