Calidad del diseño de prótesis parcial removible en modelos de estudio inferior con clase I de Kennedy realizados por cirujanos dentistas, Cusco 2022

Abstract

Objetivo: El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo Analizar la calidad del diseño de la prótesis parcial en modelos de estudio inferior clase I Kennedy realizados por los cirujanos dentistas del distrito del Cusco, 2022. Material y métodos: El presente trabajo de investigación tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, alcance descriptivo, investigación básica de tipo prospectivo, transversal, observacional y de campo, la población estuvo constituida por cirujanos dentistas que laboran en consultorios, centros y clínicas registrados en RENIPRES, la muestra estuvo constituida por 263 cirujanos dentistas el tipo de muestreo fue no probabilístico, la técnica de la investigación fue observacional, el instrumento que se utilizó fue la ficha de recolección de datos donde se registró la calidad de diseño de la prótesis parcial clase I de Kennedy inferior el cual fue registrada como deficiente, regular y adecuado según el diseño de los componentes de la prótesis parcial removible en correcto e incorrecto utilizando una ficha técnica; se realizó una estadística descriptiva de las variables de estudio utilizando frecuencias y porcentajes. Resultados: La calidad de diseño de prótesis parcial removible fue deficiente (44.9%), regular (31.9%), adecuado (23.2%). Según sus componentes la calidad de diseño de los apoyos oclusales fue incorrecto (55.9%), de los retenedores incorrecto (61.2%), los conectores menores fueron incorrecto (57.8%), los conectores mayores fueron incorrecto (64.3%), de las retenciones para bases de acrílico y extensión de las bases de las prótesis fue incorrecto (63.5%). Conclusiones: La calidad de diseño de prótesis parcial removible fue deficiente en los cirujanos dentistas de la ciudad del Cusco, y la calidad de diseño de los componentes fue incorrecto en su mayor porcentaje.

Objective: The present research work aimed to analyze the quality of the design of the partial prosthesis in lower study models class I Kennedy performed by dental surgeons in the district of Cusco, 2022. Material and methods: The present research work has a quantitative approach, descriptive scope, basic research of prospective, cross-sectional, observational and field type, the population was constituted by dental surgeons who work in offices, centers and clinics registered in RENIPRES, the sample was constituted by 263 dental surgeons the type of sampling was non-probabilistic, the research technique was observational, the instrument that was used was the data collection sheet where the design quality of the lower Kennedy class I partial prosthesis was recorded, which was registered as deficient, regular and adequate according to the design of the components of the removable partial prosthesis in correct and incorrect using a technical sheet; Descriptive statistics of the study variables were performed using frequencies and percentages. Results: The design quality of removable partial prosthesis was poor (44.9%), fair (31.9%), adequate (23.2%). According to its components, the design quality of the occlusal supports was incorrect (55.9%), of the retainers incorrect (61.2%), the minor connectors were incorrect (57.8%), the major connectors were incorrect (64.3%), of the retentions for acrylic bases and extension of the bases of the prostheses was incorrect (63.5%). Conclusions: The design quality of removable partial prosthesis was deficient in dental surgeons in the city of Cusco, and the design quality of the components was incorrect in its highest percentage.
