This research work was focused on a study of the performance of microwave nodal links in the city of Trujillo under the effects of co-channel interference using simulations in the 15 GHz band with adaptive modulation (AM). For this, a reference location called EBC Larco was taken, where together with 4 remote base stations, 8 links are formed, 04 forward links and 04 return links. For the interference estimation, the co-polar and cross-polar radiation patterns were included. From the estimation of the signal level, interference, bitrate and SNR, a signal fading of 30 dB in each link was simulated. The results showed that the co located sites (return links) obtained an interference below the noise floor, with SNR and bitrate within the expected operating range. For remote sites (forward links) the SNR values are degraded by low signal levels and high co-polar and cross-polar interference values. Two critical links are identified in which data transmission is cut off, while the other two links degrade until they operate at low speeds
