Satisfacción del paciente y aplicación de principios bioéticos brindado por la (el) enfermera (o) del Servicio de Emergencia. Hospital de Chiclayo, 2023

Abstract

El propósito del estudio fue determinar la relación entre satisfacción del paciente y aplicación de principios bioéticos brindado por la (el) enfermera (o) del Servicio de Emergencia de un hospital de Chiclayo. El estudio fue cuantitativo de diseño descriptivo - correlacional, en una muestra de 265 pacientes. Se empleó dos instrumentos, el primero para medir la satisfacción del paciente a través de la herramienta SERVQUAL y el segundo para la aplicación de principios bioéticos por la (el) enfermera (o) elaborado por los investigadores y validado por expertos. Los resultados demostraron que el 84.9% de los pacientes se encuentran satisfechos, mientras que un 15.1% de paciente se hallan insatisfechos sobre el cuidado brindado por la (el) enfermera (o). El 79.2% de los pacientes percibieron como adecuada la aplicación de los principios bioéticos en el cuidado brindado por la (el) enfermera (o), el 7.6% manifiestan como parcialmente adecuado y el 13.2% refieren como inadecuada. En conclusión, existe relación significativa entre satisfacción del paciente y la aplicación de principios bioéticos brinda por la (el) enfermera (o) r=0.85, según resultados de Coeficiente de Regresión, rechazando la hipótesis nula

The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between patient satisfaction and the application of bioethical principles provided by the nurse of the Emergency Service of a hospital in Chiclayo. The study was quantitative, descriptive-correlational in design, in a sample of 265 patients. Two instruments were used, the first to measure patient satisfaction through the SERVQUAL tool and the second for the application of bioethical principles by the nurse, developed by the researchers and validated by experts. The results showed that 84.9% of patients are satisfied, while 15.1% of patients are dissatisfied with the care provided by the nurse. 79.2% of patients perceived the application of bioethical principles in the care provided by the nurse as adequate, 7.6% stated that it was partially adequate and 13.2% reported that it was inadequate.
