The purpose of this report is to determine the equity value and the value of the shares of LAIVE S.A. through the analysis of public information and detailed interviews with the firm's executives. The valuation was carried out using Laive's financial statements as of year-end 2023. Laive S.A., a Peru-based company, specializes in the production and sale of dairy products, including milk, yogurt, cheese and other dairy products. As of December 31, 2023, the company registered 72,425,879 common shares and 185,634 investment shares, with the common shares having movement on the Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) until December 23, 2022. Both shares are currently illiquid. Chapters I to V of this research describe the business, analysis of the milk industry in Peru, financial analysis based on the company's historical information, risk analysis and the company's positioning. Chapter VI shows the valuation and estimation for the next ten years (2024-2033) through two methods: Discounted Cash Flow and Multiples of Comparable Companies. An equity value was obtained according to the methods analyzed in the range of approximately S/ 552 million and S/ 611 million. Finally, it is recommended to buy or hold shares of the company because it is a brand with more than 100 years in the Peruvian market and has not yet reached its maturity stage. In addition, it has the potential to continue expanding both in the domestic and international market, due to its high investment capacity and ability to keep up with consumer preferences and new trends. Some factors that could alter the investment recommendation are political instability, which is why some risk rating agencies have lowered Peru's investment grade rating. In any case, this risk has been considered when calculating the value of the company in the Capital Asset Pricing (CAPM) through country risk.
