The flipped classroom and gamification are methodological strategies that innovate the sessions. For its part, the flipped classroom is a pedagogical approach that provides educational resources to students prior to the session on the topics to be developed to increase practical spaces in the classroom and apply the previously reviewed concepts. While gamification is a strategy in which elements of a game are integrated into non-game environments with the aim of generating significant learning experiences. The present research is qualitative of a phenomenological type and aims to explore and determine the perceptions of teachers and eighth-cycle university students about the use of Flipped Classroom and Gamification in virtual modality. The sample is made up of 23 students and 8 teachers, the data collected was through individual interviews. The analysis of the interviews determined how these practices impact the teaching-learning process in virtual environments and evidenced whether it makes it easier for students to develop soft and cognitive skills, resulting in highly positive perceptions of teachers and students about the use of both strategies. They consider that through the flipped classroom there is greater autonomy, participation, and collaboration. Likewise, students perceive that they have developed skills such as active listening, assertive communication, teamwork, and analysis. Regarding gamification, teachers and students perceive that integrating playful elements in classes generates significant learning, motivation, and interest. In addition, they consider that with this methodology they can develop skills such as tolerance, teamwork, and analysis.
