The family, a natural institution where people adopt values and virtues to face society, unfortunately at present this institution is undergoing a series of transformations of different kinds, which is why the need arises for the creation of a regulatory entity in charge of the promotion, protection and strengthening of families in a State. By creating a Ministry of the Family in Peru, there is also a need for an effective mechanism for results, thus implementing the family approach to public policies in our country to ensure that the family fulfills its purposes, since the application of these measures at the international level has brought with it many benefits for the members of the family group. Therefore, for the development of this documentary research, one of the objectives is to analyze from the comparative law the public family policies at the international level, having as a reference at the European level the case of Hungary and in America the case of Guatemala, also to analyze from the national level the public policies aimed at the protection of the family in our country to finally substantiate the importance of the creation of family policies. a Ministry of the Family based on the regulation of article 4 of the Constitution, which guarantees the protection of the State.
