The objective of this research work is to develop an improvement proposal for scope management and the definition of requirements within the Clínica en Chiclayo project in a context that coincided in recent years with the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic. This Peruvian health organization has achieved significant growth in Colombia and Mexico, and when considering its experience in construction projects, opportunities for improvement are identified in the aforementioned knowledge areas, as well as in the establishment of project governance policies, including management and communication of lessons learned. These data were obtained through a survey of the project team. Among the conclusions, it is proposed to improve scope management and the definition of requirements within the Clínica en Chiclayo category II-1 project through the collection of the aforementioned with a workshop and the implementation of design thinking. In addition, the organization seeks to predict the future and generate changes and challenges in the culture, which is why it proposes the collection of said requirements through workshops and work with prototyping, the management of lessons learned and cross-review work, in order to get feedback between the project teams in Peru and Colombia. This way, synergies can arise that help to take advantage of the knowledge of both countries, in order to integrate the team and value their work.
