This research addresses a study within KAPITAL S.A.C, where there have been delays in project delivery times, as well as a need to report the current economic progress of the projects. Consequently, previous projects have shown inefficiencies reflected in cost overruns, negatively impacting the expected benefits of each project. These issues arise from the lack of a working methodology and standardized processes for project management. To address this situation, a methodology is proposed that includes the selection of a project management approach and the use of tools and templates for monitoring projects by the designated person or team within the organization. The methodology also outlines the project management processes and the formats to be used according to the type of project being executed. This methodology is developed based on the best practices outlined in the PMBOK® - 6th and 7th Editions by PMI®. As part of the project monitoring process, performance indicators will be obtained to determine the current status of the projects and the adherence to the methodology. To complement the proposed methodology, it will be necessary to formalize general policies such as: quality policy, procurement policy, and safety, health, and environmental policy. Finally, an implementation plan is recommended for the deployment of the proposed methodology within the company.
