Peruvian craftsmanship is an ancient practice that represents the cultural and artistic experiences of various regions across the country. The research identified a significant gap in the services for training and developing new artisan technicians, which is crucial for promoting the teaching of artisanal techniques on a national level. Currently, schools and artisan centers in Lima are concentrated in the city's center, leaving the eastern zones of Lima, which have a significant number of artisans, underserved. According to MINCETUR (2012), many existing schools and workshops have been adapted from pre-existing building types, resulting in a lack of proper educational infrastructure. These adaptations often lack adequate differentiation between academic and public spaces, appropriate dimensions, sufficient lighting, and external connections. Therefore, the project proposes the creation of an Artisan School in the district of Ate, focused on technical education and the dissemination of craftsmanship. Following the principles of using intermediate spaces, the school aims to foster educational and cultural connections among students and with the community. This will be achieved through the appropriate design of environments that promote informal learning and integration between the various internal artisanal specializations and the exterior, utilizing cultural public areas.
