The general objective of this research was to determine the relationship between anxiety and stress of health personnel at the Jaén hospital, post COVID-19. The study dimensions concatenated to the stress and anxiety variables were eustress, distress, state anxiety and trait anxiety. Within our methodology used in this study, a quantitative approach is presented, with a correlational scope, a non-experimental design and a cross-sectional type. The sample was made up of 217 workers belonging to the health personnel of a hospital in Jaén, Cajamarca; obtained through the non-probabilistic convenience sampling technique. On the other hand, the technique used was the survey and the instruments used were: The Global Perception of Stress scale (EPGE) and the Anxiety Inventory-IDARE, obtaining as results the determination of the relationship between the anxiety and stress variables of the hospital. from Jaén, demonstrating that, if there is a relationship, with a value of Rho = 0.208 being a low positive correlation with a significance level of p =0.002; Therefore the hypothesis is accepted. Which means that the greater the stress experienced due to the pandemic context, the greater the anxiety due to worry and fear.
