Objective: determine the relationship between knowledge and compliance with growth and development controls in mothers of children under 5 years of age at the Collique III health center, Comas 2024. Approach and design: quantitative approach, non experimental, cross-sectional and correlational design. The population was made up of mothers of children under 5 years of age from the Collique III Health Center area, during the month of May 2024. According to the data provided by the person in charge of the CRED, there were 63 mothers of children under 5 years of age. The sample was census. Results: the average age of the mothers is 27.41 years, with a range between 19 and 44 years. The level of knowledge of the mothers, where 34.9% of the mothers have a low level of knowledge (n=22), another 34.9% have a medium level of knowledge (n=22) and 30.2 % have a high level of knowledge (n=19). Compliance with growth and development control in mothers. 44.4% of mothers do not comply with the control (n=28), while 55.6% do comply (n=35). The chi-square test revealed a significant evaluation between the level of knowledge and compliance with growth and development control in mothers (Pearson's chi-square value = 24.070, two-sided asymptotic significance = 0.000). Conclusions: there is a significant relationship between knowledge and compliance with growth and development controls in mothers of children under 5 years of age at the Collique III health center, Comas 2024.
