The province of Huaura, located on the north coast of the department of Lima, has an agricultural area of 108,090 hectares, with constant access to water and a semi-tropical climate conducive to the cultivation of citrus fruits in the country (Ministerio de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego [Midagri], 2023). In this region, there are many mandarin growers who offer products of the highest quality. The proximity, contacts and trust established with local producers give us a strategic advantage in the area. It is important to note that the popularity of mandarins and their derivatives is on the rise. In our country, the tangerine has become the preferred fruit for lunch boxes and snacks between meals, and there is a significant growth in the demand and consumption of tangerine juices and jams. Globally, the demand for mandarins is on the rise, reflected in global imports and exports of this fruit. Considering these factors, a business plan has been developed to establish a mandarin marketing company in the north of Lima. The value proposition is focused on providing the world with our exceptional mandarins and their derivatives, grown on our land with the highest quality and safety. Every detail will be carefully managed, and our commitment to local farmers supports our differentiation strategy. After making economic projections and analyzing profitability indicators, such as the NPV of S/. 1,915,566.51, the IRR of 52 %, and the Payback of 2, we conclude that the business plan is feasible and viable.
