Pets are an important part of peruvian families. Just in Lima, 40.6% of homes have at least one pet. According to Forbes Peru, the spending on pets rose 29.1% in 2021 and aims to be the higher in the successive periods, which opens a big opportunity to businesses that oriented towards the care and sale of pet accessories. Retail stores like SuperPet have also managed to expand their market share besides Lima, thanks to the trend of responsible pet are. That’s why it aimed to make a pet related business, but purely digital, taking advantage of the impact and reach that digital strategies must reach the target audience. “Patita Feliz” is a digital platform, where in addition to being able to buy pet food, users can subscribe to one of two planes that will allow them to purchase food for their pets with scheduled deliveries without additional costs. They will also have nutritional counseling with veterinary specialists. According to the surveys conducted for this project, 75.2% of users stated that they would be interested in subscribing to “Patita Feliz”. The analysis conducted showed that an investment of S/ 465,853.88 in required to set up this project, which would be recovered in the first year. According to the economic cash flow, there would be a NPV of S/ 5,345,232.68 in the first five years, with an IRR of 475% in that period.
