Introduction: When COVID-19 was declared as a pandemic in March 2020, there have been changes in the lifestyle of the population and modifications of eating habits in all population groups, one of them being university students. Objective: Determine changes in dietary habits of undergraduate students from the Faculty of Psychology of the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences, during the COVID-19 pandemic in Lima, Peru 2022. Material and Methods: Descriptive and cross-sectional study. The sample consisted in 118 psychology students from the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences, the sampling was non-probabilistic. The survey: Eating Habits and Physical Activity during confinement by COVID 19 in students of the Faculty of Sciences - Pontificia Universidad Javeriana was modified and validated with experts and applied to Peruvian students using a 22-question Google form that included demographic and eating habits. Results: 75% of those surveyed were female, a percentage of students identified an increase in the consumption of cereals (43%), fruits (43%), vegetables (55%), water (51%); On the other hand, there was a decrease in the consumption of high-fat dairy products (35%), sugars (29%), soft drinks (30%), desserts and sweets (35%), with no significant differences reported by sex. On the other hand, a decrease was observed in the consumption of breakfast, lunch and dinner (60%, 92% and 74% respectively) with a report of increase in the amount of food consumed (58%), the habit of snacking between meals (63%) and skipping meals (55%), during the COVID-19 pandemic. Conclusion: The COVID-19 pandemic generated changes in the eating habits of university students.
