This study analyzes the economic and environmental situation after the granting of property titles in eight native communities of the Urarina ethnic group, located in the Chambira, Tigrillo and Patoyacu river basin, Urarinas district, Loreto province, Loreto region. The general objective of the study was to identify and determine the relationship of socioeconomic and environmental effects that the titling of territories of native communities brings. The research methodology is adapted to the mixed quantitative and qualitative experimental research design, supported by statistics, because the study does not allow the deliberate manipulation of any variable, what it does is observe and describe the phenomena as shown. presented in their natural context. Regarding the most important results, we find an empowerment of the community members with respect to their territories and the full satisfaction and identification of it. However, there are no improvements in socioeconomic conditions, concluding that 95.3% affirm that the degree has failed to improve their quality of life. On the other hand, the titling procedure in relation to the environmental level had a positive effect, due to the minimal loss of forest cover, achieving the conservation of natural resources in the study area.
