This design was done to solve the problems of Forest Operations PETROPERU company in relation to their communications networks for voice and data. This problem was operating a diverse network, heterogeneity in the use of equipment and materials, where different categories coexisted wiring connecting communications equipment of different models and technologies. AH this was exacerbated by the new choice of appropriate standards to the current needs of combination, to overcome this problem there is a new network design, the methodology used Descending (Top Down) that was achieved with a network of voice and data improving information flow and communication between users, based on the benefits of the use of advanced technology devices such as computers Layer 3 managed switch, fiber optic, UTP Category 6A cable, this will enable this network LAN meet the main benefits of this type of networks are: reliability, reliability, scalability, security, access control in the coverage area of forest operations and especially the possibility of growth of Interconnectivity into other areas so we can have better management of the network.
