This project aims to determine a methodology to manage the risks of software development projects, applying this methodology to the company IquitosPlay, also the proposed methodology one of the projects that the company applies. Project management, has today, with a range of technology available to professionals in the field tools as well as a set of guidelines, a result of the implementation of the principles of project management, this allows well-founded analysis. In this project, the techniques suggested in the PMBOOK Guide Project Management Institute (PMI), where a set of guidelines established for the development of a management plan well structured risks apply. The process of risk management begins with a Planning Risk Management, followed by the identification of risks and uncertainties and then perform risk analyzes, which may be qualitative or quantitative. Later, once the probability, impact and vulnerability in the analysis stage defined, we proceed to plan risk response. In the case of hazards, the type of response can be transferred, prevent, absorb or mitigate. Then risks are monitored to observe its evolution, and if any change occurs in the conditions or circumstances of the project, proceed to the starting point, ie, to identify and analyze the risks and their new conditions. As a result of the project were defined steps of the proposed methodology, and how it should integrate the processes of risk management requirements involving certain processes required to complete a software development project properly. As tools templates Hazard identification, plan risk responses and risk monitoring report were created. The categories of risks were defined as technical risks, project risks, and Business Risk. Finally a pilot project, which is to apply the proposed methodology to a project that is running the company IquitosPlay because this develops software development projects are developed.
