The objective of this research work was the role of the teacher and sexual education in the 6th grade students of primary education of the State Educational Institutions of the Lurigancho-Chosica district, 2019, a research that was carried out based on the procedures established in the quantitative approach, following the type of substantive research, and established in a non-experimental design with cross-sectional data collection, a correlation was found between two variables, a probabilistic sample of 177 participants was established, all of them from the 6th grade of primary education, divided into a proportional sample. for the collection of data, the questionnaire was used as an instrument, which was formulated one for each variable, both have validity by expert judgment and Cronbach's Alpha reliability equal to 0.985 (Teacher role questionnaire for students), 0.778 (Role questionnaire for of the teacher for teachers) and 0.875 (Sexual Education Questionnaire). In the results to descriptive level, it was found that 67.2% (119) of the students consider that the role of the teacher in sex education is of medium level and, 63.8% (113) of the respondents, have a sexual education in process and, at the inferential level, determined that the role of the teacher is significantly related to the sexual education of the students of the 6th degree of primary education of the State Educational Institutions of the district of Lurigancho–Chosica, 2019 (p < 0.05 and Spearman's Rho = 0.762, being correlation high positive).
