The present research aimed to determine if there is a relationship between plastic expression and fine motor development in 4-year-old children of the National Holy Spirit Educational Institution of the City of Tacna during the year 2019 This research is hypothetical - deductive, because It seeks to know the degree of relationship that has the variables under study. (Sampieri, Fernandez Collado, & Baptista Lucio, 2010). The research is 48 children of 4 years of the National Holy Spirit Educational Institution of the City of Tacna enrolled during the year 2019, being a finite population and for being less than 50 sample units no sampling will be applied. Therefore, a census will be carried out. Currently, educational teaching methodologies are increasingly subject to technology, as well as graphic activities such as drawing, painting, modeling are displaced for hours in front of the television, computer , Tablet or cell phone, in such a way the absence or lack of the application of these activities have a direct impact on the correct fine motor development of children today. Based on different international and national research, a slow or poor motor development in the children studied is reflected, the poor execution of graphic activities such as filling, tracing, coloring, although in a way they stimulate motor skills, if they are carried out with little interest and motivation, has an efficient impact on children. 52% of children are at a level of learning achievement of fine motor development and very close with 48% children who are at a level of little learning progress. Early education teachers perform more motor activities, fine motor exercises and grafomotor techniques to enhance fine motor skills in children and develop their prewriting. This way it can be shown that a poor execution or lack of application of activities related to plastic expression such as drawing, painting, modeling, sealing, engraving, among others, can be a factor that limits the development of fine motor skills in children For this reason it is important to know the relationship between the plastic expression and the development of fine motor skills in 4-year-old children of the National Holy Spirit Educational Institution of the City of Tacna during the year 2019, so that based on the diagnosis obtained can guide and provide an improvement plan to promote and encourage the application of this type of activities, for the best fine motor development of children of that institution.
