This thesis investigates a quantitative approach, correlation scope with cross design influence that have styles of learning on the critical thinking of the pupils in the last grade of secondary education of educational institutions" Simón Bolívar","Sinchi Roca" and "Jose Valverde Caro" from the district of Comas during the year 2019. Random and stratified sample was conformed by 167 students. The data collection instruments used were the CHAEA-36 learning styles questionnaire and the questionnaire of critical thinking. Data analysis was made with the scale of kegs for the establishment of the qualitative levels of the variables studied, and the parametric test Pearson correlation coefficient to evaluate the direction and degree of relationship of the variables postulated in the general scenario and in specific scenarios, as well as the statistical significance of the sample findings. The found results reported the existence of a moderate and positive influence of the styles of learning on critical thinking of the students of secondary respondent. Were also observed that reflective learning style has a high positive influence on critical thinking in the students, and that theoretical learning style influenced positively and moderately in the critical thinking of the same learners. On the contrary, programmatic and active learning styles showed inverse influences moderate on critical thinking in learners of the investigated sample. The results, ultimately proved to be significant at a level of probability of p < 0,05.
