The objective of this research work was that the game is an important activity in the infant and in its formation as a student. It is natural and spontaneous, it is born from the inner world and develops in society. Is a cognitive activity and a means to develop abilities and skills. Therefore the value given by pedagogues recognize its value in the formation of the student. In this sense, since the game is a means by which the human being manifests his potential, interests, feelings, abilities and skills; oriented within the pedagogical field allows developing the capacities and performances foreseen in each area of development of comprehensive and playful way. Mathematics is an exact science, which permanently man always. The Mayans, as well as Pythagoras and Newton have cultivated it. Nevertheless, for some it has always been considered a difficult science, but the models of learning and practice have made it, more and more, a matter of easy access, in the general, global sense. Likewise, it accompanies every action of man in his day by day, so that it is impossible for this science that is in charge of studying the numbers and amounts. Indeed, the human being is immersed in activities that require daily use of logic and mathematical calculation. However, many Sometimes it is presented in an abstract way and difficult to understand, although now it is different, Therefore, the mathematical contents are presented are more dynamic and easily comprehension. In school education, mathematics is very important for life child's future; and the assimilation of significant learning in this area will depend, in great part, of how the teacher selects, creates and conducts the games as a means of student learning, since it is the teacher who must create situations where students naturally discover concepts related to mathematics. Likewise, learning it should be a natural and motivating process. teachers must generate spaces for the discovery and apprehension of tools that facilitate the problem solving and logical reasoning. In this sense, it is convenient for the child to play making use of the greatest variety of objects, covering different themes, which have a close relationship with mathematical concepts. This point is extremely importance, because through play is that students learn the area of mathematics in a fun way based on multiple activities that the teacher must to plan. The teacher can incorporate mathematical games so that the student assimilates the new knowledge, in order to reinforce what he already has, to have a good time, and mainly to get used to working with content naturally, since many times They look very abstract. In this sense, the game applied in learning the area of Mathematics should provide the teacher with strategies to make their classes dynamic, motivating and above all significant; and the student, provide the tools to manage and resolve problematic situations skillfully and naturally. The present investigation: The game in the learning of the area of mathematics of the third grade primary school students from state educational institutions of the district of Lurigancho - Chosica in 2015 was carried out to obtain relevant information about the game in the teaching-learning process in third grade students primary school in the area of mathematics, and the result was an incidence 99.99% significant.
