The objective of this research work is to show that in recent times there has been a process of nutritional transition, economic, environmental and sociocultural changes in the population have made these products last, promoting their consumption due to their ease for the consumer. Objective: Determine sodium intake through the consumption of ultra-processed food products in the school environment in adolescents from School 0025 San Martín de Porres, in the period 2021. Materials and Methods. A one-week consumption frequency questionnaire was applied through the virtual form to 142 students. Quantitative, observational study with a cross-sectional design, qualitative approach. Results: The consumption of ultra-processed products by adolescent students at school 0025 San Martin de Porres corresponds to 65% in women and 34.5% in men. The frequency of daily consumption of solid products was 68.8% (cookies) and of liquid products was 38.8% (soft drinks). Conclusions: A high prevalence of sodium consumption in solid products was observed in women with 12.9% and a high prevalence of sodium in liquid products with 14.3% in men.
