The present investigation is of quantitative approach, of a non-experimental type with correlational descriptive design, where the following objective is studied to determine how the investigation strategies are related to the development of digital competencies in the Administration students of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, In a sample conformed by The sample was constituted by 155 students of the Faculty of administration, the sample is of probabilistic type, stratified. The results were obtained two by applying two questionnaires, which went through a process of validity and reliability. The hypothesis test was performed using Pearson's r statistic because the data has a normal distribution. The result of the sample hypothesis test that there is a direct, moderate and significant correlation, given that the value r found is 0.067, with a level of significance equal to 0.000, a result that is less than 0.05, is taken the decision to reject the null hypothesis and accept the working hypothesis. That is, inquiry strategies are related to digital skills at a significance level of 0,05.
