The objective of this research work is focused on studying the impact and influence of Edmodo during the act of learning mathematical equations in the case of students of the second year of high school of the Colegio Nacional de Vitarte (CNV), located in the district of Ate, during the period of 2018. In this sense, for our first variable, we start from the evaluation of the role or roles played by the virtual teacher, therefore, her capacity in the handling and management of technological resources, together with the didactic strategies and pedagogical, while for the second variable it has been taken into account the capacities manifested in the development of the study of linear equations. Which in turn implies representing and expressing mathematical ideas constructed by students; In this way, the essential objective of this research is the demonstration of the influence that the Edmodo virtual classroom develops in learning mathematical equations. The sample consisted of 122 young students enrolled in the second grade of secondary of sections A and C; Likewise, the analysis of the minutes of notes was considered from the previous year and the results of assessments used in classroom applications Edmodo Virtual. The research is of an applicative type, its quasi-experimental design, reason for which the survey was applied as a central technique, with two instruments: checklist and written test.
