The objective of this research work has as a general problem: What is the relationship between teaching strategies and visual arts in third year secondary school students of an Educational Institution in the province of Lima? Furthermore, the general objective is to establish the relationship between teaching strategies and visual arts in third-year secondary school students of an Educational Institution in the province of Lima. The type of research will be basic, framed in the quantitative approach, non-experimental transversal correlational level, having a population of 111 students and the sample of 60 students of non-parametric sampling, the survey technique was applied with a dichotomous questionnaire for the variables and its dimensions in the students of the third year of secondary school of an Educational Institution in the province of Lima. The research worked with constructivist learning theory. Which considers that the construction of concepts must be coherent and orderly. This knowledge is unique to each student and the new knowledge will be symbolized through organizers made by the students. This research is correlational which concluded that there is a relationship between teaching strategies and learning of the visual arts in the aforementioned educational institution.
