The objective of this research work was on the project method in the learning of decorative ceramics by the students of the UNE Experimental College of Application, 2018. Methodologically, the research had a quantitative approach, of a basic type with a non-experimental descriptive correlational-transversal design, we worked with a sample of 83 students from the 5th year of high school from the Experimental School of Application of the National University of Education. Before applying the instruments, they underwent expert judgment validity and Cronbach's alpha was used for reliability, having had a polytomous type questionnaire. To obtain the normality test, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used, using SPSS V26 software. The data obtained in the research corresponded to a normal distribution, so the Pearson correlation coefficient was used, which allowed obtaining a correlation r = 0.946 which corresponds to a strong correlation with a p – value = 0.000 <α = 0.05; which determines that there is a significant relationship at the 0.01 level; Therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted.
