The main objective of the present study was to determine the relationship between methodological strategies and teacher performance according to the students of the Institute of Higher Education Pedagogical Private Divine Child. Research by its nature corresponded to a quantitative research approach, with a substantive or basic type of research, correlational descriptive design and deductive hypothetical method. The sample was constituted with 38 students of the mentioned institution. To answer the questions raised as research problems and fulfill the objectives of this work, the corresponding information was collected, using the survey technique and the corresponding instruments were: Questionnaire on methodological strategies and questionnaire on teacher performance. The process of validity and reliability of the instruments performed; respectively, through the judgment of experts and the Cronbach Alpha coefficient. The results were the following: There is a significant relationship between the methodological strategies, at a total level and by the dimensions: Planning, organization, execution and control, and the teaching performance according to the students of the Institute of Divine Child Private Pedagogical Higher Education.
