The purpose of the research was to determine the relationship between administrative management and the quality of the learning achievements of secondary school students in the educational institutions of Puerto Maldonado, Madre de Dios region, 2016. Descriptive design process - correlational. The method suggested the use of survey techniques, generating a questionnaire and a rating scale as related instruments and derivatives thereof. The questionnaire measured variable one: Administrative management. The dimensions of the study were: the application and execution of the institutional plans, the fulfillment of the managements and the development of capacities, consisted of 13 items. The rating scale measured variable two: learning achievements. The dimensions under study were: Ability to think, ability to produce ideas, ability to transform realities, was made up of 10 items. We worked with a sample of 05 educational institutions of secondary level, formed by 103 teachers. For the validation of the instruments the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used, yielding the alpha value of 0,861, for the "administrative management" questionnaire and the alpha value of 0,708 for the "learning achievement" assessment scale applied to teachers of the educational institutions of secondary level of Puerto Maldonado, Madre de Dios, 2016. After processing the data with the statistical system Spss, using the non-parametric statistic Chi square, it was determined that there is a statistically significant correlation since the p value was 0.000 lower than the level of significance 0.05, consequently there is a significant correlation between the variables: Administrative management and quality of learning achievements.
