The objective of this research work is to mention that it is a qualitative study, of the case study type, in an ethnographic design that analyzes the approaches of learning evidence in the learning sessions, the latter considered the units of analysis. These units have been analyzed with the data analysis technique, in the Atlas.ti computer program, in its version 8. The objective is to be able to determine the reading competence in the evidence of learning of an educational institution of regular basic education at the level secondary, in the year, 2022 - Lima, analyzed from three categories, the first is referred to the conception of the development of skills, the second is related to the development of skills, and the third characterizes the evidence of learning scheduled in sessions. It is concluded that the evidence shows that there is a perception, by teachers, about the competencies in their conceptual dimension. Regarding the development of skills, there is a predominance of the development of reading skills at a literal level and its characterization shows an absence of processes, coherence between purposes and evidence, as well as a lack of justification.
