The main objective of this research is to determine the relationship and influence between the dimensions of learning strategies in the development of autonomous learning in students of the Systems Engineering speciality of the University of Sciences and Humanities. The research involved the application of two instruments: Diagnostic Evaluation Questionnaire and Learning Strategies CEDEA (Ferraras, 2008) and Questionnaire Scale of disposition for autonomous learning (Narvaez, 2003). The first instrument is distributed in three dimensions: metacognitive - evaluative strategies, information processing strategies and dispositional and context control strategies, measured in 5 categories under the Likert scale, so that the higher the score, the greater the use of learning strategies. The second instrument, scale of disposition for autonomous learning, questionnaire of 38 questions measured in 5 categories under the Likert scale, also designed in such a way that the higher the score, the higher the level of autonomous learning. First of all, descriptive statistics were used to characterize the population in the dimensions of autonomous learning and the learning strategy. Then we proceeded to demonstrate that there was a significant relationship between the proposed joint model based on the three dimensions that configure Strategies learning with Autonomous learning under the multiple regression model. The analysis of this model led to the evaluation of the Snedecor F statistic, whose level of significance was 0.000, validating the hypothesis that there is indeed a significant relationship between the joint model of the dimensions of learning strategies with autonomous learning. Finally, each dimension of the learning strategies in the development of autonomous learning was analyzed independently, finding that each one of the dimensions was significant, being able to affirm that in order of relevance the dimensions that contribute in greater or lesser relevance to autonomous learning are in first, "dispositional and context control
