It is a reality that schools as organizations over time, become more complex systems. On the other hand, research on school effectiveness, from the outset, highlighted the importance of school management as a key factor in effectiveness. In this context, new styles and theories of leadership emerge. (Murillo, 2006) Leadership makes an important difference in the quality and outcomes of the school process, it seems to depend on the person and not the school. A "good" manager is one who is able to unite the community, to excite it around a common project, to involve everyone in decisions. From these ideas, just a few years ago, the concept of distributed leadership was born. In the concept analyzed it is a new leadership, with a moral basis, centered on values, which by nature promotes its own socialization, its distribution in the whole. It should be noted that the concept of Distributed Leadership is really new to educational reforms, some of the most prominent authors who support this concept are: Graetz, Hartley and Allison, Harris and Chapman, Spillane, Halverson and Diamond and Kets of Vries mentioned by Murillo 2006. The origin or idea of distributed leadership has been derived from cognitive and social psychology, specifically based on distributed theory of cognition and activity. Hutchins (1995) suggested that cognition be better understood as a phenomenon distributed through individuals and internal and external representations. A contemporary perspective on the distributive direction, equally implies the social context, and internal relations (Spillane, Halverson, and Drummond, 2001). Now: What real contribution or progress does distributed leadership provide to education? To answer this question, this research will look at the factors that influence distributional leadership theory and the strategic plan is an action programme that is to clarify what we intend to achieve and how we intend to achieve it. This programming is reflected in a consensus document where we concrete the big decisions that will guide our progress towards excellent management.
