The objective of this research work was the present work entitled Learning styles and academic performance in the area of Communication, according to the students of the intermediate cycle of Basic Education Alternative of three State Educational Institutions UGEL N° 06-Vitarte, 2019, searched determine the degree of relationship that exists between the variable learning style and academic performance in the area of Communication, according to the students who belong to the intermediate cycle of EBA, of three State Educational Institutions UGEL N° 06 - Vitarte, 2019. The methodology was characterized by using the quantitative approach, with a non-experimental, descriptive and correlational design. The consigned sample was 74 students, selected through probabilistic sampling. The study concludes that there is a significant relationship between learning styles and performance academic, according to the students of the intermediate cycle of Alternative Basic Education of three State Educational Institutions UGEL No. 06 -Vitarte, 2019.
