The objective of this research work is to determine the relationship between motivation and teaching performance in the context of Covid-19 at the UNTRM of Amazonas, 2021. To achieve the objective, two questionnaires were applied to 101 teachers, being a study quantitative, basic, descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional. The main result was: A correlation coefficient was found between the variables equal to 0.770 with a bilateral significance level of less than 0.05 (p=0.000), which implies the existence of a very strong positive correlation. The main conclusion was: according to the theory of the two factors in job satisfaction, a teacher who is not motivated, would show little willingness to work, which would be associated with his low level of teaching performance, since, teaching is characterized by the relationship with others, through communication processes that identify the ability to generate knowledge.
