The objective of this research work is to determine the influence of the use of the Flipped Class pedagogical model and the achievement of data network support and maintenance capabilities in Engineering students at universities in Lima Norte. The research approach is quantitative, the level is applicative and the design is quasi-experimental, the latter because 2 work groups chosen prior to the experiment have been selected (experimental group and control group). To carry out the experiment, virtual theoretical sessions were developed through learning management platforms or LMS, such as Moodle, Chamilo, Canvas, in addition to the YouTube platform to upload videos with pre-recorded theoretical classes. The face-to-face sessions focused on practical work and were developed only in the laboratory. The evaluation of the achievement of abilities focused on the evaluation of student performance by applying rubrics designed for this purpose. This thesis verified the positive effect of applying the flipped class pedagogical model in students of Networks and Data Communications courses at universities in Lima Norte, to improve the achievement of support and maintenance capabilities for data networks.
