The objective of this research work is to identify the relationship between lifestyles and nutritional status in students at a public university, 2023. The research has a quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional correlational approach. For this, a sample of 150 students of both sexes was had. The Healthy Lifestyles questionnaire taken by Salazar and Arrivillaga was used; Being modified by the researchers and validated through expert judgment, it consisted of 48 questions divided into 6 dimensions. In addition, weight and height were taken to determine nutritional status. For statistical analysis, the SPSS statistical test and Pearson's Chi-square method were used to determine the relationship between the variables. The results showed that a healthy lifestyle predominates in female students with 78% and in male students with 73.2%; Agricultural students presented the highest percentage in relation to overweight and obesity with 39.1% and 4.3% respectively. It is concluded that there is no significant relationship between lifestyles and nutritional status in university students with a (p=0.553).
