The objective of this research work was the investigative work has as its main purpose to establish the connection that exists between the body mass index and lifestyle in the 5th grade secondary school students of the Educational Center 128 La Libertad San Juan de Lurigancho - 2020. The study carried out It has a quantitative approach, of a basic descriptive type, with a cross-sectional design - correlational and hypothetical-deductive method. It was carried out in one hundred students of 5th grade secondary school of the Educational Institution 128 La libertad San Juan de Lurigancho. For him data collection, the QBMI test was used, which records the BMI level and the questionnaire designed by the author of this research called "Lifestyles". The The result of the study was that the body mass index and lifestyle, contrasted using Spearman's Rho correlation test shows that sig 0.00 < 0.05. Also, that the degree of correlation is -0.691, which indicates the appearance of a remarkable inverse relationship. From these data it was concluded that there is a relationship difference between body mass index and lifestyle.
