The present research entitled: Motivation of achievement and self-efficacy in students of the 5th grade of secondary education of the I.E. French Alborada - Comas District, was carried out under the quantitative approach, with substantive or basic research type, with correlational descriptive design and deductive hypothetical method. Its general objective was to determine the relationship between achievement motivation and self-efficacy in students of the secondary level. The sample consisted of 90 students from the 5th grade of secondary school of the mentioned institution. For the data collection the survey technique was used, the instruments were: Achievement motivation scale and Self-efficiency scale. Inferential statistical analysis was performed taking into account Spearman's Rho. The conclusions refer us that: There is a significant relationship between the motivation of achievement and self-efficacy, at total level and by the dimensions: Confidence and problem solving, in students of 5th grade of secondary education of the French Educational Institution Alborada - District of Commas.
