The objective of this research work was what refers to the nutritional status in the stage of adolescence, specifically in the Peru, in the latest official surveys, shows figures that worry experts. Thus, This study is oriented to the analysis of the association between nutritional status and eating habits of fourth and fifth year high school students of the institution public educational José Abelardo and private El Hogar in Lima. To achieve this objective, It relies on an applied type methodology and a descriptive-correlational design. He took as a population the totality of fourth and fifth year students of a public school and private in Metropolitan Lima of 300 students taking as a sample 105 students equitably distributed. The survey and the evaluation technique were used anthropometric, for which the Likert scale questionnaire was used as an instrument, scale and stadiometer. The data was processed with the help of descriptive statistics and the correlational analysis using the GraphPad Prism version 8 program. In general terms a healthy BMI was found, and an inadequate abdominal perimeter in the female group, however, the group eating habit was optimal, and the nutritional status was regular. To the performing the correlation, no significant values were found. It is necessary to carry out other studies where the correlations between the different variables are made and that consider the gender variable in all evaluations.
